ANDY DEMARIO SR.

DARRELL ROBERTSON
Darrell is Branch Manager of Carroll County Public Library’s North Carroll Location. He has been with CCPL for nearly two decades & has served as the Branch Manager of North Carroll since 2014. Carroll County Public Library’s Mission is to play “a vital role in the community's success by providing access to information and a place for collaboration and engagement.” At Carroll County Public Library they “strive to be a vital community partner, to be a good neighbor, and to provide you with the best ideas, information, and resources. Together we can discover, learn, and grow.”
During his time at North Carroll, Darrell has created & strengthened partnerships with many organizations in the area including serving on the Board of Directors of the Hampstead Merchants Association (2016 to 2020), BGE’s Community Advisory Council (2017-2022) & Carroll County Public School’s Equity Council since 2019 to name a few.
Darrell is a Carroll County Public School graduate who then obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Shepherd College (now Shepherd University) & his Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science from the University of Maryland. In his personal life, Darrell is married with 3 children and has kept busy with his daughters’ sports by coaching, serving on local recreation councils and serving in numerous volunteer roles through out their high school sports careers.
CHRISTOPHER TOMLINSON
Christopher Tomlinson was elected in 2022 to the Maryland General Assembly to represent Legislative District 5 (Carroll & Frederick Counties) in the Maryland House of Delegates, where he serves on the House Judiciary Committee. He previously served on the Carroll County Republican Central Committee from 2017 - 2022 and served as the 3rd Vice Chairman of the Maryland Republican Party from 2020 - 2022. From 2017-2021, Christopher wrote for the Carroll County Times and Baltimore Sun, where he covered state and local politics as a bi-weekly opinion columnist.
Christopher works at the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) managing the Contract Division within the Office of Procurement.
Christopher is active in the community serving as a member (and former President) of the Lineboro-Manchester Lions Club.

DAVID BISHOP
David is the owner of Technolegs, an Owings Mills based Web Design and Social Media firm. Since 1994, they have created hundreds of sites for businesses all over the world and helped them grow and prosper through Social Media Marketing.
David is married to his college sweetheart, Tracey, and has a son, Daniel and a daughter-in-law, Ashley. In his spare time, David enjoys travelling, painting, and attending live entertainment events.
A recent (2021) transplant to the area, David has quickly embraced the cultural and business environment of Carroll County.

GUY GAREY
Guy has been with Quality Film & Video and has been serving as its Vice President for over 43 years. Specializing in corporate video production and post production he has served as producer, director, cameraman, lighting sound and non-linear video editor.
In addition, he and his father Peter Garey own and manage commercial properties in Hampstead MD, Manchester MD, Hanover, PA, and Florida. Guy also is “The U-Haul Guy” in Manchester MD, that he operates along with Triple G Mini Storage.
In 2008 he joined the business organization in town known as MAMA (Manchester Area Merchants Association) and stayed an extremely active member until 2020 when he stepped down. During those years he served as member, Board of Directors member, Treasurer, Vice President and finally as President for multiple years.
He rejoined the business group now known as North Carroll Business Alliance in 2024. In 2025 he took on the position of Treasurer.
Guy has been a member of the Lineboro/Manchester, Lions Club for over 10 years and has served as Member, Board of Director member, Vice President, two times as President, Zone Chair for two years, Region Chair, and Cabinet Treasurer. He remains extremely active in the Lions Club to this day.

MAT TIAHRT
Mat Tiahrt is past President for NCBA serving as President for two years (2021-2022). He is also President of the Hampstead Lions Club serving his first year in that role. Prior to that he was their Vice President and Secretary.
Mat is a financial advisor with Edward Jones in Hampstead. He has been with the firm for 18 years. He served in leadership with Edward Jones as growth leader and as regional client consultation group leader.
He is also a member of Sandy Mount United Methodist Church and is a board member for the Carroll County Academy of Finance, a group that helps high school students interested in finance or accounting.
Mat lives in Westminster on the 25-acre Great Day in the Morning Farm. He has four pigs, two goats, six chickens and two ducks. He is married to wife Tracy and his daughter Lottie attends the University of Maryland College Park and is majoring in international business.
