Our guest speaker is Chris Tomlinson, who represents Legislative District 5 (Carroll & Frederick) in the MD House of Delegates. Chris won his election in 2022 and started his 4-year term in 2023. For three years he served on the House Judiciary Committee. In 2026, he was reassigned to the brand-new House Government, Labor, & Elections (GLE) Committee where he was appointed as the Committee’s Ranking Republican member.
Since late 2024, Chris has served as the Chair of Carroll County’s Delegation. Chris has had success with passing bills that increase transparency in municipal elections and bills that help small businesses with getting State contracts. Chris lives in Melrose (north of Manchester) with his wife and young daughter.
